Raleigh or Carlton racer for renovation
Built in Nottingham - serial No. NS4233753 which I think is December 1974
Frame looks good, no bent tubes or dents. Has been powder coated at sometime.
21.5 inch / 54.5cm frame size
Has Raleigh logo crank set - left crank arm is missing
Has Carlton hoods on Weinmann levers so not sure if Raleigh or Carlton
At present is 5 speed but originally would have been 10 speed
Rear wheel is buckled, slight rust to chrome on Raleigh rim - may true up.
Front is pretty straight, good chrome on Rigida rim but some missing from brake surface.
Weinmann Vanqueur centre pull brakes.
Seat post and handlebar stem are free moving - not seized in
