For sale Raleigh Mantis single speed bike, used but in great condition with no damage or mechanical issues. Formally my sisters bike, its been sitting in the airing cupboard keeping my old racer bike company for ages now. Last year sis passed her driving test, since she bought herself a little banger the bike sadly hasn't been ridden since, several months. She used to ride to the station and bring this with her, works in Stansted. Train fares were just becoming a joke, hence. A real shame because this bike has seen miles and miles with no issues, only a puncture :) This thing has gone everywhere, work, out on rides the lot. We had a discussion and both agreed because its a decent runner about, looked after rather just leave it to gather dust, sell it on, see it go to a good home and be fully enjoyed again. :)

Bike is again used but in great condition (SEE PICS). Bolts, wheels, forks and brakes all in great nick. The back isn't original, wheel and tyre. Some toe - rag thought it was clever to kick the original in while the bike was locked up at Liverpool street station. The back wheel, gear derailer were mullered. Since she needed it urgently up and running again, I converted it one Saturday afternoon to a single speed. I gave her a spare wheel, front sprocket and chain originally spares bought for my dirt jump bike. As we had no spares at the time to repair it quickly enough, this was a quick solution for her ready for that Monday morning. It was supposed to be temporary but sis found it so comfortable, it was kept and ridden henceforth. Recently fitted a brand new set of back brakes, racer type U-brakes. Both sets function really, really well, no issues, recently been fitted with a brand new cable, didn't fit a new set at the time, sis rode with fronts, again didn't have the parts at the time. Wheels great nick, no signs of wear or serious damage/issues, inner tubes have no punctures, fully pumped up. Tyres, slick road types, great nick too, no cracks in the rubber, splits ext. Fitted with a brand new up front as the original was a bit iffy so i changed it. Frame, solid as a rock, no bends in the metal work. Checked over it all and its ready to go, no probs. Threads, bearings all in lovely greased up condition. The crank, oiled it all up as with the pedals, all function lovely, nothing wrong or any issues. Seat, good condition, nothing wrong, worn or damaged ext good to go. Pedals, chain greased and drowned in WD40, again all tight and solid, bearings and shaft properly looked after, oiled up and no issues.
Everything on the bike, all kept clean and looked after. All majors, tightened, oiled and pumped up, bike can be ready away on the spot. I'd taken the bike out for half hour for a test run to make sure everything was working and no problems. The old birds just for a good home now :)
