Trek 1.2 Alpha series alumnium and carbon fibre bike plus accessories
18 month old road bike bought for £750 in 2015, on offer for £475 with accessories or £400 without. Selling due to priorities changing (wife is pregnant, no longer too happy with me zipping around London!)
Used for commuting and stored inside at both ends. Fast, reliable, recently serviced (summer 2016) but as with all new bike purchases a tune-up is recommended. Suitable for taller riders (I'm six foot and fits me perfectly but test ride is encouraged). Grip tape could use re-winding/replacing but otherwise in excellent condition.
Accessories can be bought for £75 when bought with the bike but are worth much more:
- Cateye Volt 300 lumen usb rechargeable front and rear lights (£70 new / £35 now)
- Endura Luminite Fluorescent Jacket size XL (£80 new / £40 now)
- Kryptonite D-lock (£35 new / £20 now)
- Tyre levers, Multitool, innertube, frame-mounted bike pump, fluorescent bike cuffs - free
